"Good for finding events, but the browsing issues are getting annoying"
I mostly use shotgun.live to find parties and gigs around me, and to be fair, it does show some cool events I probably wouldn’t hear about otherwise. But the search and filters can be really messy, and after a while it starts to get frustrating. I’ve tried using it a bunch of times, and it just feels harder than it should to narrow things down or browse properly. It’s a decent app, but these issues really need to be improved because they’re starting to take away from the whole experience.

The event got cancelled, which was ridiculous, but at least I got the update fast and it was really clear. The refund details were easy to find too, so I wasn’t stuck guessing what to do next.

"Pretty accurate, but the venue details were late??"
Overall, the event info was mostly spot on. The dates and lineup were accurate, which was really helpful, but the venue details showed up a bit late?? Not a huge deal, just would’ve been nicer to have everything sooner.

"Waitlist was kind of frustrating"
I got on the waitlist sometime last month, or maybe it was the end of the month before, and it just never seemed to update. I kept checking back, but nothing really changed, and I still missed out on tickets anyway. Annoying experience overall.

"Refund hide-and-seek"
I had to follow up twice just to get my refund moving. They did finally respond, so I guess patience really is a customer service strategy now. It got sorted in the end, but the whole thing was slower and more annoying than it needed to be.

"Honestly feels reassuring to book through real organizers"
I’ve been using shotgun.live mostly for local concerts and club nights, and I was pleasantly surprised by how legit everything feels. The event pages usually have enough info, and sometimes you can check out the organizer’s past events or socials, which makes it feel way less random.

I haven’t had any ticket issues so far, and that’s been a nice bonus. It’s just easier to relax and actually look forward to the night when the organizer profile feels like there are real people behind it.

"Helpful support, but it did shake my confidence a bit"
My ticket didn’t show up at first, which made me a little uneasy and kind of chipped away at my trust in the process. Support did get back to me the same day, and they were polite and clear about what was going on. It took a couple of messages to finally get it fixed, so it wasn’t completely smooth, but they handled it well enough in the end. Overall, good, though not perfect.

"Notifications could be better"
I’ve used Shotgun for a couple of events, and overall it’s been fine for me. Booking wasn’t too difficult, and I didn’t have any major issues getting tickets or figuring out the basics.

That said, my biggest frustration is definitely the communication. I’ve had notifications show up late or missed updates about an event, which is annoying when I’m trying to stay on top of plans. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but I do think the alerts need to be clearer and more reliable

In the end, I did get my ticket and the confirmation came through without any issues. The checkout was just a bit slower and more confusing than I expected. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it could definitely be smoother

"Decent night, but I expected more"
I went to a show I found on Shotgun, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The music was good, and getting in was really easy, so no complaints there. But the venue felt way too packed, and the sound was kind of off depending on where you were standing. For the price, shouldn’t the sound be better everywhere? It wasn’t a bad night, but was it amazing? Not really.

Am I missing something here? I got a fraud alert when trying to transfer my ticket, which I guess is a good thing since they’re actually checking for suspicious stuff. But then it took support about a full day to clear it, and that was frustrating. Security seems okay, but the wait was annoying.

I bought tickets on shotgun.live and the confirmation email didn’t come through instantly, which definitely had me staring at my inbox like something had gone terribly wrong. But it showed up a few minutes later with everything exactly as it should be. No issues in the end whatsoever. It would absolutely be better if the email arrived faster, but the tickets came through fine.

I liked that the full price was shown before I paid. Compared to other places where extra fees pop up at the last second, this felt a lot more straightforward. No surprises, which I appreciated

"Cool event, but finding the venue info was a pain"
The event itself looked really interesting, but trying to figure out the venue details felt way harder than it needed to be. I kept having to dig around and wait for basic info that should’ve just been clear upfront. I don’t mind being patient when it makes sense, but being forced to be patient over missing details is frustrating.

"Got paid, but it wasn’t always quick"
I did get paid in the end, so that part was fine, but sometimes it took longer than I expected. I’m not usually in a huge rush, unless it’s around the end of the month when I’m trying to sort out bills and groceries and all that, but it would’ve been nice if the timing was a bit more consistent.

"Super Easy Ticket Sale"
I sold my spare ticket on shotgun.live and it was a really smooth experience. The transfer was easy, the money came through without any issues, and my friend got their ticket with zero drama. I was really happy with how simple it all felt and I’d definitely use it again for future events.

I made an account on shotgun.live quickly, and logging in worked fine after the email verification. It did take me a minute to find the right button at first, but nothing too frustrating. The only thing is, after I paid, I felt a little uneasy because I wasn’t totally sure everything had gone through properly right away. It eventually seemed okay, but that moment definitely made me a bit distrustful

"Code worked, so I went for it"
I saw the discount apply and just went for it right away. The code worked fine, but checkout was a little slow, which was kind of annoying.
